About the exhibition
The History of Healing permanent exhibition re-envisioned the collection of the Wishard Memorial Hospital Nursing Alumni Association for the new Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital and Eskenazi Health campus. The long and rich history of Eskenazi Health and its previous identities are presented through historical artifacts like medical equipment, clothing and a detailed timeline signifying special moments in the hospital and nursing school’s history. The third display features just some of the awards this highly decorated healthcare provider has received over its 150 years of service. The exhibition was custom design and fabricated to ensure the rich legacy of Eskenazi Health was preserved and presented to contemporary audiences.
The History of Healing is located in the lower level of the Fifth Third Bank Building on the campus of the Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital.
