Indy Pride 25th Anniversary Exhibition
About the exhibition
Curated for IndyPride, Inc. this exhibition featured historical artifacts, videos and photos detailing the history of the Pride Festival and events, an in-depth look at Indy Pride Inc. and community service and partnerships and the Indy Bag Ladies. Through detailed research, the first comprehensive history of the festival was written detailing its humble beginnings in the 1970’s to present event that draws drew over 80,000 people in 2012. The information and artifacts were presented over six designed graphic panels with accompanying slideshows on monitors.
A second portion of the exhibition, co-curated with Paula Katz, featured original artwork celebrating the creativity of Hoosier Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender artists from a variety of mediums.
