About the exhibition
50 artworks and installations were installed on storefronts throughout downtown Indianapolis as part of an outdoor arts festival. SWISH brought together nearly 600 visual artists, musicians, dancers, spoken-word artists, curators, and other creative-industry professionals to turn downtown Indianapolis into a sidewalk art gallery and a three-week cultural festival. While intended as temporary sidewalk galleries, many of the artworks remained on display throughout 2022.The sidewalk galleries were project managed by 60 on Center including artwork and location selection, artist liaison, artwork production and installation. This exhibition is a collaboration between Indy Arts Council and 60 on Center.March 13, 2021 through July 2022
